Founded in 1951 as a family business, Indiana Ribbon is conveniently located 90 miles from Chicago and Indianapolis in Wolcott, Indiana near major US Interstates. Indiana Ribbon is dedicated to small-town family values, creativity, and high-quality manufacturing in the United States.

From mass producing pre-formed gift bows by the millions for publicly traded gift packaging companies to creating custom hot stamp ribbon for the individual, no job is too big, small, or unusual for Indiana Ribbon.

Innovative Beginnings:

Below is a mid-century bow machine designed and developed by Indiana Ribbon + Bow's founder J.J. Thayer.  It was this machine's innovative design that launched Indiana Ribbon + Bow into the successful manufacturer it became, and he was granted a patent for the design on January 12th, 1971.
